Carrie Nicholls has held the position of Senior Resource Geologist for Seequent since April 2016. She has over 15 years’ experience in all aspects of mineral resource estimation and started her career at AngloGold Ashanti’s then flagship open pit gold mine at Sadiola, Mali. Having cut her teeth on their Malian operations, she went on to work for Gold Fields in Venezuela and then more recently for Bloy, who offers grade control software solutions as well as consulting. She holds a BSc (hons) in Geology and MSc in Mineral Resources and is an AusIMM Chartered Professional. She is currently supporting the development team with the newly released EDGE module and is also embarking on bringing Blockbuster to the European market.
