Marat Yelibayev is a Principal Banker with Energy & Natural Resources in Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Marat has over 10 years experience in banking, private equity, capital markets, corporate finance, and accounting across the different industries in Central Asia.

Before joining EBRD, Marat was an Investment Director with CITIC Kazyna Investment Fund I. Prior to that, Marat worked at PwC and Deloitte accounting firms where he gained extensive experience in accounting, reporting, and internal controls.

Mr. Yelibayev holds a Masters in Finance degree with a concentration in Corporate Finance from London Business School and a Bachelor degree with honors from Kazakh Economic University.
