After graduating with honours from the Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute in 1979 Saule Urazayeva works in the system of geology and subsoil use of Kazakhstan. She has many years of continuous experience in the industry, both in the structures of state bodies and national companies, and in service exploration organizations.
Since 2015, she is the Executive Director of the Kazakhstani Association for Public Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves and a member of the International Committee CRIRSCO.
Transition to KAZRC reporting standards in mining industry of Kazakhstan
Milestones of KAZRC introduction:
• Government Resolution of Concept of development of geological industry in Kazakhstan till 2030, includes challenge of CRIRSCO standards implementation, 2012
• Step 74 of implementation of CRIRSCO standards was included in to the State Plan of 100 Concrete Steps, 2015
• KAZRC Association was formed, 2015
• PONEN was formed, 2015
• MoU between MID KZ and CRIRSCO signed, 2015
• KAZRC Code drafted, 2015
• Listing rules of KASE require reports based on CRIRSCO standards
• Kazakhstan became 10th member of CRIRSCO, June 2016
• Subsoil Code in Kazakhstan approved, 2017
• Transition period during of which two reporting systems operate in RK -GKZ and KAZRC, 2018-2023
• Complete transition to KAZRC reporting standards, 2024
